Before Rich made his move to California to work for Apple, he wanted to do a shoot that commemorated all of his favorite architectural spots in his hometown of Buffalo, and I of course jumped at the chance to commemorate that angel face of his! On an unreal spring day after such a surreal winter, he took me on a tour of his favorite houses where we absorbed all the gold of the evening sun, stopping intermittently to marvel at Buffalo's most darling details and snap portraits among them. We ended the shoot at Rich's (now former) apartment, where I just had to make a portrait of him with his baby angel, Amy the cat, in a sea of perfect light- making a mark on his life timeline to have forever!
Besides being a tech guru, Rich is a fantastic image maker whose perspective on the world makes even my eyes turn into big old cartoon hearts! You guys are going to want to keep up with Rich in San Jose (and in general) by following his feed @faint on instagram!
